Development and Schools

Welcome to the scottishathletics Development and Schools page. Here you will find lots of information on how youngsters can get involved in athletics through clubs, schools, governing bodies or local authorities

There are a number of youth athletics programmes and initiatives for youngsters to get involved in at a variety of ages and abilities including:


 
Aviva Elevating Athletics Curriculum athletics: Age 5 - 18 

 

*Aviva Awards Measurement of Performances/Awards: Scheme: Age 3 - 18    

                          
Sportshall Primary Indoor Competition Primary School Sports Hall Athletics: 

   Age 9 -11                                                          

Aviva startrack Holiday Programme: Age 5 - 15       

 

* Parallel Sucess Do you have a future Paralympic champion in your school?                      

   All Age group

*Schools Championships Secondary School Track and Field and Cros Country Event promotion


* Giant Heptathlon  Secondary School Competition and Coaching:

   Age S1 -2                                                                                            
Run, Jump and Throw Clubs (Community Clubs): Age 5 - 14                   
 
Scottish Schools Athletics Association: Age - Primary and Secondary
