Organising an event
If you wish to organise an athletics event, be it a track and field meeting, road race, cross-country event, hill race or highland games, then you will require a permit from scottishathletics.
scottishathletics will provide information on potential date clashes, risk assessment, insurance, permit standards for road races, levy collection (for all races with an entry fee of over £2), race organiser affiliation, course measurement, etc.
